The Sultana Series~Birth of the Bluebird is filled with many beautiful characters, some we will love and some we will hate.

These two characters are very much in my "love" category and for good reason.

They have been in love since childhood and their story unfolds beautifully in my first book.

Who is Süreyya?

She is many things and her job is never done.

Always taking care of and doing things for the one's she loves.

And when the going gets tough, Süreyya is not afraid to fight for her family & her faith.

So self-publishing is not only a daunting task but it's actually lots of fun!

The actual time it takes to create things, to me, is immeasurable. I spend every waking moment thinking about this series and how amazing I know it can be and I am OKAY with that. I love the work and being creative, so I don't mind how much time it takes to make this happen.

I am so thankful to be able to explore this world and do it with some amazing students who are just as eager as I am to see this series come to life.

Been working on some book cover ideas with my amazing little circle of book loving friends.

ANY THOUGHTS?? I am kind of loving the clean look.....

Love the bow & arrow as it is such an important part of this book.

Also love that the arrow looks like a "B" which could also represent the BAYAT TRIBE.
